Yes, her name is really Winsome Wookie. It was the 'W' year, and we were a little slap-happy from driving to Syracuse (a long drive), and that's what we came up with. Relax, we just call her Winnie... Winsome Wookie is just her registered name. She's also called Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Grand Poo Bah, and now... Winnie the Poodle (look at these pictures, you'll probably see why).

Winnie is Wixie's sister. She's a sweet cat, but not the brightest bulb we have around here.

300 x 400 600 x 800 Winnie swallowed not one, but two sparkle ball cat toys. One became lodged in the valve that separates her stomach and small intestine. The doctor eventually found it, and extracted it without surgery. A week or so later, she wasn't recovering... she was very skinny because she still wasn't eating. We took her back to the vet, and he found another further along in her small intestine. No wonder she wasn't eating!

Update 6/13/2001: Apparently Winnie isn't the only shaved Wookie. Weird!
